THE EXCEPTIONAL HARLEY FETTERMAN

In February of 2016, while still in treatment at Dell Children's,
Harley and Beth watched the Central Texas Regional Braille
Challenge. Harley was allowed to participate even though he was in
the hospital and took first place competing again against Merlyn
rd
Hileman (2 place) and Su Park (3 place). He FaceTimed his
nd
acceptance speech in to the event. This was the last year that these
three could compete since they were seniors. Harley was actually
feeling better and Beth was pleased that his hemoglobin was the
highest it had been in three years.
