the tutelage of Masters in Florence and Livomo learning the ancient art of tempura, egg
painting and gold leafing. She has served apprenticeships in wood and copper engraving,
studied lithography in Paris and has combined all of these with more modern techniques of
acrylic and airbrushing to create her unique style of rendering artworks.

Central to Le Kinff’s body of work are her portrayal of women, working without a model her
inspiration draws from dreams and travel creating powerful, elegant images taking inspiration
from the drawing of Matisse, the elegance of Modigliani and the vibrant symbolist palette of
Gauguin. Le Kinff has exhibited widely in Europe, Australia and Japan and was the official
artist of the 1998 World Cup.
