This is a copy of the painting ‘Ecco Homo’ 1639-1640 by Italian high-Baroque painter, Guido
Reni (1575-1642). The original painting is held in the Louvre, Paris. We can only surmise that
this painting maybe Victorian from its ornate gilt plaster frame.
The canvas of this painting is damaged and in need of restoration.
