Repentance from sin

sentence of being separated from God forever being
                carried out.

The only hope is to be spared having to go to the Court of
                God's Judgement.

God Himself wanted to spare men this judgement so HE
                looked for a way.
As He searched through mankind, this is what He found.
Isaiah 59 v15,16 '...the Lord looked and was displeased
that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one,
He saw that there was no one to intervene.'

So although God wanted to find someone to save the human
race He could not find anyone. So He turned to Himself.
Isaiah 59 v16 continues ' .. so His own right arm worked
salvation for Him and His own righteousness sustained
                him'.

Own right arm is a term that is used to describe His Son who
also is God. The term that people use about those who are
closest to them he is like my right arm comes from this
reference to the relationship between God the Father and
                God the Son.

SO SALVATION FROM GUILT, PUNISHMENT AND
SEPARATION FROM GOD, is provided by God the Son.

                1Timothy 1 v15 'Here is a trustworthy saying that
deserves full acceptance, Christ Jesus came into the
                world to save sinners'.

Jesus did not come to earth as a man to die for a set of
principles, or to be a martyr, or to set an example. Though
these things were achieved, He came first and foremost for
one reason only. Jesus himself said in Luke 19 v10 'The
