P. 24
If then there is no evil, what is it that we experience and call
evil? Perhaps I can answer this by referring you back to what I
have already said and draw your attention to my saying that
Spiritually there is no evil. You will have heard of evil
“spirits”. There are no evil Spirits. You will have heard of
“fallen angels”. There are no fallen angels. Look around you
in your world. What evil can you see? You will only see
actions of human kind that can be described as “evil”.
Sometimes you will see actions of other animals that could be
similarly described but only when looked at in human terms.
In other animal terms these actions are natural for that animal.
In all of the created world there is an interdependency, each
relying on the other in some way. When that interdependency
becomes a dependency trouble occurs. This trouble is caused
by the expectations of the dependent. When these
expectations are not met then there is trouble. Dependency
becomes demand. It is no individual’s responsibility to live
their lives by the expectations of others. Each individual has
but one life to lead and that is their own life. No one can draw
any benefit by living for another, only by living for
themselves. When living for oneself we can then be part of the
cycle of interdependency that is as created. Evil is the
imposition on another, control or implementation of
expectations that are not to the good of another. This
imposition can be force of any kind, mental or physical but
never spiritual. Evil is only ever the action of humankind,
never Spirit.
