looking entrepreneur mindset, I would be able to
stop there. However, I have to dig deeper. Cancer
normally causes 1,831 deaths per million people in
the United States, which means an additional 202
deaths per million is an increase of 11 percent in the
cancer death rate. It is illogical to estimate that only
                                62
cancer treatment will suffer with budgetary healthcare
constraints. We should consider the following list of

other top ailments in its entirety:

                   1. Heart disease: 1,978 deaths per million
                   2. Respiratory disease: 489 deaths per million
                   3. Stroke: 447 deaths per million
                   4. Alzheimer’s: 371 deaths per million
                   5. Diabetes: 255 deaths per million

                   6. Influenza: 170 deaths per million
                   7. Kidney disease: 154 deaths per million

                   Total (including cancer)– 5,695 deaths
                   per million

We should realistically expect that reduced
healthcare funds will likely increase all of the major
issues by 11 percent. In other words, a significant

economic contraction similar to the Great Recession
is likely to increase deaths by 626 deaths per million
or a total of 204,827 people in the United States. This
