is as damaging as any sickness because you feel
like you’ve been abandoned. Only a few people
have the power inside themselves to have hope
in the midst of darkness by themselves. That is
why I had to step up and start giving hope to
everyone I meet. My kids need to know I have a
plan and that they will be safe and secure in the
months and years to come. My employees needed

hope that they could pay their bills and not be
unemployed. My wife needed a single source
of comfort to battle the tidal wave of social and
news media beating the drum every day that the
“sky is falling.” We all need to start writing pay-
it-forward checks of hope to everyone we meet,
because someday we will need someone to write

us a check in return.

My friends, hopefully by now you are starting to

see why we must take a stand against the over-hyping
and fear-spreading gossip related to this disease. The
real war is not with the coronavirus, it is with the
