FEAR UNMA S KED

tasked with how we message our customers in
this time of falling skies. How do we bring hope
to our customers without spreading fear? This
is a very fine line to walk, because if I go all out
in my message about how we are combating the
coronavirus, then I am adding to the fear because
people will see our message and say, “See, even
the carpet cleaning guy is scared.” But in this

political climate, there are those that say if you are
not doing enough, they will call the authorities to
make you respond to the pandemic.
Each job I went on I met great people who
were struggling to keep living a normal life. I
discovered that I needed to bring hope also to
every customer I got to serve. One lady told me

that I was the very first person to visit her in over a
week; my heart broke. I started searching out hope,
trying to find it. In the fear and darkness, I did see
great people step up and try to be that hope.
I’ll end with this. As a Christian, this is the
first time I’ve ever had the government tell me
that I cannot meet at church. Maybe I’m old
school, but I really believe that we are to lay our
hands on the sick, and they will recover. Maybe

that means instant healing or maybe we heal
their heart because not only are they sick but no
one is willing to go near them. Isolation I think
