I am the Executive Director for Helps Community Initiatives (HCI) - Where
Hope Thrives!!! We are the community outreach arm here at Truth Revealed
Intl Ministries. Bishop Merton L. Clark is the Founder, Visionary, President,
and CEO of HCI.

HCI is a Faith-Based 501C3 organization. We like to say we are
"unapologetically" Faith-Based. We do what we do because of our love for
Christ and His love for the world. We believe that God cares for the whole
man - BODY - SOUL - and SPIRIT. We put our faith into action and become
doers of the Word under Bishop Clark's leadership. We help believers and
unbelievers alike. We are NO respecter of persons. We help the homeless,
we have a temporary shelter for men, called The Mercy House. We host the
Palm Bay Cold Night Shelter for the homeless when it gets 45 degrees and
below outside. We help with rental and utility assistance, and we have had
STEM, Career Development, and Entrepreneur programs all under HCI.

I was a certified project manager in my professional secular career. The
owner of a project was the one who was going to pay the bill - the one who
was going to pay the price. The first thing we asked the owner before we
started to do any work, was "What do you want us to do for you?" We must
know what the end product should be before we can begin to plan and
determine how to get there; how much it will cost and even whether it is
feasible given the budget and time constraints. I consider myself a purpose
driven woman. I must have a reason for everything I do even if the intent is
for me to do absolutely nothing. I need a reason to just be still.

With that, it is important for you to determine what is God's purpose for your
life as a Christian. If all we are doing is not for Christ - then what is it for?
If all we are doing is not to lead others to that same Christ - to eternal life
in the kingdom of heaven, then all we are doing is in vain. I've heard Bishop
Clark preach on several occasions that our objective is not just to bring
people to church or to bring them to see Bishop or hear the praise team
sing, but it is to lead them to Christ. To point them to the cross. To introduce
them to OUR Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Isn't that what church is all about
- spreading the Good News that Jesus saves! Ultimately, that is the purpose
and goal of HCI. We hope to not simply serve a need, but we look for the
precious opportunity to share the Good News that Jesus saves. To want to
leave them with the understanding, that regardless of the need or what is
going on in their life at the time, Jesus is the answer.
