Specialty Fitness Classes
As the demand for classes such as Spinning, CrossFit and Pilates expand, we
need to accommodate these specialty classes with proper spaces and flooring.
Today, we are limited to the number of attendees and the number of classes
that we can offer. Many Members currently look outside our club to fill these
needs.
Golf Course Bathrooms
While not glamourous, we must refresh our current course bathrooms. We
have a top-notch golf course; our facilities should match! These bathrooms
include structures at holes 5 and 14 as well as the bathrooms near the tennis
courts/golf staging area.
Storage
Currently, we have insufficient storage space even though we use
off-site storage at an expense, a portion of our administrative offices, a
section of the dining room as well as the Bistro for storage. While storage is
not glamorous, it’s a requirement.
Conference Rooms
Currently, we have one conference room that is regularly booked for Board,
Committee and club business meetings. Concurrent meetings use the Grille
Room, the dining room, and the lobby. This is not ideal, nor is it conducive to
meetings that discuss sensitive subjects. With more Members working from
home, there has been an increased requests for the use of a meeting room.
There is a great need for an additional conference room.
Golf Course Maintenance Buildings
Currently, there are two (2) buildings where chemicals, fertilizer, machinery,
sand, mulch and other items used to maintain our great golf course are
stored. These buildings are falling apart. They were built prior to Bocaire’s
existence and must be replaced. The golf course maintenance equipment is
presently stored outside with no protection from the weather. This reduces
the useful life of this equipment. We have invested to create a world-class
golf course. We must maintain our course and these buildings are critical to
our being able to do so. We need to build a 9,000 square foot building
sufficient to store the necessary chemicals, fertilizer, mulch, and sand
necessary to maintain our golf course. This building would also house the
offices, bathrooms, locker room, break room and facility to repair equipment
needed by the maintenance staff. There will also be space for storing items
the club now pays to store offsite. Additionally, we would build a 1,200 square
foot covered area to park our golf course equipment to protect them from the
elements.
