Liao, Pei-Ru
A student of gouache painting under Mr. Zeng De-
Biao in 1985, Ms. Liao has participated in 20 joint
exhibitions, including exhibitions with her husband,
teacher and students from 1993 to 2017, and held 10
solo exhibitions from 1997 to 2017. She participated in
the 12th Art Inheritance Taichung County Artist’s Relay
Exhibition in 2000. She has also won Merit or Selection
prize 17 times at the Arts Exhibition of Taiwan Central,
the Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition, Tai-Yang
Art Exhibition, Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung
City, National Art Exhibition, ROC and Taichung
County Art Exhibition. She won an Award of Merit at
the 81st Tai-Yang Art Exhibition and earned an Award
၅෥ The Circle of Luck ٜࢰ60cm 2024
of Excellence at the New Taipei City Art Exhibition in
2017. She was invited to hold the "Wandering Free-
-Exhibition on Select Works by Resident Artist Liao
Pei-Ru" at The Artist Archive of Taichung City on 2F
of Taichung City Seaport Art Center in 2022. She is
currently a board member of Taiwan Gouache Painting
Association and the president of the Taichung County
NMT Art Association.
