Katelyn Rutledge, Corporate Recruiter, Associate
Who is one woman you look up to and why?
My grandmother, Francis Rutledge. She is 91
years old, legally blind, survived 3 cancers and
has lived on her own for the last 15 years. It’s not
that she is simply a survivor, it’s her kindness
and faith that makes her an amazing role model.
She was more like a mother to me growing up,
always encouraging me to see the positive in
every situation, have a hungry curiosity for life
and learning, and to be strong! Her famous words
have always been to never settle for less than your
worth and always be kind, for you never know
what someone else is battling.
Jacqueline Roquemore, Recruiting, Sr. Manager
Where are you feeling empowered or
disempowered in your own woman’s story?
I feel empowered in my own story when I can
use my professional and personal experiences to
promote the company in a positive light. When
at recruiting events I enjoy using all areas of my
past and present experience to show what a great
company I work for. As a woman and a mother,
I want the best for those around me. I observe
people and situations to determine the best way
to connect them together. When my opinions and
feedback are heard, I feel valued and empowered
to do more.
