January: Alex Nydal February: Carolina Gil Ochoa
Alex is being awarded employee of the month for his GCarolina leads the Robotics Process
excellent performance and representation of MIL at the Automation (RPA) team at the
Department of State client site. Alex started supporting Department of State’s (DoS) Bureau
IV&V testing in 2012. Since then, Alex has emerged as a of Diplomatic Security (DS). She is
leader in the budget area. He has played an integral part responsible for determining if a process
in the implementation of IBIS over the last few years. Alex is a good fit for RPA, requirements
stepped up even more in the last year when organizational gathering, testing, and keeping
changes required him to take full leadership of the IBIS development on track based on client

Supporting an Award-Winning NAVAIR Team
MIL is proud to have been part of a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) team that recently received the 2021 NAVAIR
Commander’s Award in the Business Innovation (Transaction or Affordability) category. As a part of the “Re-Imagine OPNAV
PRE PRL” team, MIL is responsible for the cloud migration and system integration/automation of all existing systems and data
sources that make up the environment.
In a message to MIL AVP Jeffrey Bailey and several other contractor members of the team, Jason Thomas, J CIV USN NAS PAX
MD, stated:
It brings me great pleasure to bring this news to the team. As a result of your hard work and dedication over the last year,
the Re-Imagine Team (and specifically the work on CRIM (Cost Readiness Impact Model) has been selected for a NAVAIR
Commander’s Award…Please share this with the team at large and know that this award is only a fraction of my earnest
appreciation of what you are all doing day-in-day-out to support this effort. It’s a heavy lift, but an important one to bring results
not just in the acquisition community, but tangible benefits to the warfighter. A sincere and humble thank you.
The Commander’s award is an annual recognition within NAVAIR for teams that have significantly improved the design or
modification of an aircraft or aircraft system.
