Electrical Energy Needs

The electrical energy needs of the Sadai industrial area are based on calculations that refer to Ministerial

Regulation Number: 40 of 2016 concerning Technical Guidelines for the Construction of Industrial Estates,

where industrial plots in the Sadai Industrial Zone are approximately 540,923 ha, built as a whole needed

electric power of 126.26 MVA.

• Short Term 1-3 Years required electrical energy : 39,84 MW

• Medium Term 4 - 7 Years old requires electrical energy : 42,27 MW

• Long Term 8-15 Years Electricity is needed : 44,15 MW

To meet the electrical energy needs, a power plant will be built in stages. In the short term of the initial year

planned Biomasa power plant with raw materials utilizing Kaliandra plants with a capacity of 2 x 12.5 MW,

for the medium term 4-7 years adjusted to the needs where it is assumed that in 3-4 port development will

begin to be built and will soon operate , that’s why it is needed. Other power plants are prepared by utilizing

raw materials Coal must be built at least 2 x 20 MW, while for the long term 8-15 years, the construction of

a 70 MW power plant is needed, so that overall it can achieve a total electricity production of 135 MW.
