cycles must observe the three months calendar, while others, believe and argues
that, the period must be extended up to nine months calendar. And for a wife who is
found pregnant during the waiting period must stay on such period till her burden is
relieved.
2. Children Custody
The children's custody remains in the hands of the woman provided that she is not
remarried. The father has to provide for the childcare. Childcare and any other basic
necessities for the children will handled by the divorced father, unless the woman
proves her capability to provide the basic needs for the children. After the children
grow, she or he will decide where to reside.
EFFECT OF KHULA DIVORCE
Khula divorce like any other kind of divorce has a long term and disturbing effects
to children. Children, both boys and girls are highly affected by Khula divorce with
boys externally affected, with girls internally affected. Below are the consequences
