Valerie Matusik Conference Room

Valerie Matusik, the first child of Bill and Shirley, started
working at Kokosing in 1966. After earning an education
degree from Baldwin Wallace University and a master’s
degree from The Ohio State University, Valerie taught for
several years in northeast Ohio; in 1984 Valerie and her
family moved back to the Fredericktown area. Utilizing
her professional experiences, she joined Kokosing’s
accounts payable department and kept records in
impeccable condition; then became the vice president of
public relations in 1992. Valerie’s devotion to her family,
church and to the team members of her family’s company
inspired those who knew her.
