Bradford “Brad” Burgett, the fourth child of Bill and
Shirley, started working full-time at Kokosing in 1979.
Following graduation from Ohio Northern University Brad
filled many roles with Kokosing, including vice president
beginning in 1981. Brad’s resourceful tactics influenced
the future of Kokosing. He saw the potential in untamed
markets and pushed Kokosing towards new opportunities
in limestone and asphalt supply and the expansion to
Arizona during a construction shortage in Ohio. Brad
possessed an unyielding drive to tackle the impossible
with innovative solutions of custom design to
continuously improve.
