Dan Compston War Room
(previously Westerville Highway War Room)

Dan Compston graduated from The Ohio State University
and joined Kokosing in 1977. Dan exhibited exemplary
leadership abilities in the field and was promoted to
vice president of the highway division in 1983 and to
president in 2015. He guided Kokosing through the
unfamiliar market sector, executing strategic moves and
managing the work with great detail and attention. After
over 40 years of hard work, Kokosing Construction
Company is one of the nation’s largest heavy highway
contractors. Dan cultivated many team members into
the next generation of leaders that continue on with his
passion to build people and projects.
