QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The bodhisattva is cast with eight arms
and dressed in elaborate flowing robes
with a long scarf looped over the the
arms and falling in ripples down the
sides. The figure is further arrayed with
beaded jewellery, and is cast with a serene
expression to each of the heads’ faces.

A BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER
MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
The bombé censer is cast with two upright
loop handles rising from the rim and is
supported on three conical feet. The patina
is of a mottled brown colour with some
surface encrustation. The base is cast with
a six-character seal mark reading Da’an
Zhang shi jiacang ‘Collection of Da’an from
the Zhang Family’.
