A JADEITE TRIPOD CENSER
20th century
Following the form of an archaic bronze ding, raised
on hollow cylindrical legs embellished with lion
masks and supporting a globular body carved with
a band of taotie masks and abstract bird's heads
below a wide, flat rim set off by a pair of bracket
handles, the stone an icy pale green color with
patches of white and apple green.

A LAVENDER AND EMERALD-GREEN JADEITE
TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
20th century
The compressed ovoid body flanked by a pair of
dragon handles, raised on three short cabriole feet
each carved with a lion-mask, the domed cover
surmounted by a lion finial and surrounded by three
evenly spaced animal heads suspending loose rings,
the highly polished translucent stone of icy green
and lavender hue, with natural veins and inclusions.
