A CARVED RUSSET AND WHITE JADE ‘CHILONG’ DISC, BI
SONG-MING DYNASTY (960-1644)
The disc is carved in high relief with two kui dragons, the reverse carved with ruyi-heads and
dot motifs. The stone is of a yellowish-beige tone with minor mottling and some russet and
grey inclusions.
