A gilt-bronze standing figure of
Vajradhara
18th/19th century
Crisply carved as a slender standing figure on a
single-lotus pedestal, the tranquil face crowned
with a five-pointed tiara surmounted by a tall
chignon, his hands crossing in front of the chest
gripping the stalks attached to a vajra and ghanta,
the long celestial scarf trailing down across the
shoulders to the sides above the feet, adorned with
opulent earrings and beaded jewellery.

A gilt-bronze seated Amoghasiddhi
18th century
The Buddhist figure wearing a heavy crown and
beaded jewellery framing the face cast with thick
brows and slanting eyes, the mouth tinted red, the
right hand held in abhaya mudra above the feet
crossed in the lotus position, the figure raised on a
double-lotus pedestal and framed by a flowing scarf.
