Seated cross-legged atop a double-lotus pedestal and the hands The bodhisattva wearing a five-peaked Buddhist tiara and high
held in dhyana mudra, finely cast with eyes downcast beneath a topknot, the slender body embellished with an animal pelt and heavy
five-tiered crown enclosing the high chignon, embellished with ornate jewellery with areas of red enamelling, the right hand held out in the
wheel-shaped earrings and necklace, with a separately cast flaming harina or lion gesture above the right leg stretched out in lalitasana
mandorla behind. and supported by a lotus pedestal placed on a patterned textile on
19.5cm (7 2/3in) high (2). the back of a Buddhist lion cast with a fierce grin, the thickly-tufted
