A rare and large silver-wire-inlaid
bronze standing figure of Guanyin
18th/19th century, inlaid two-character mark
Shisou
The Goddess standing swaying to her right, her
hands raised with the fingers coiled, her looping
robe flowing down to her bare feet and inlaid in
silver wire with flower scroll borders, all in a domed
base of lotus flowers and breaking waves, the
surface darkly patinated.
