An ivory figure of an Immortal
Ming Dynasty
The figure carved with a high domed forehead, a few strands of hair
tied with a scarf at the nape of the neck and the long beard and
moustache flowing over his chest, the right hand carrying a fan and
the left resting on a gnarled staff, wood stand.

An ivory painted panel with view of a fort and city
19th century
The delicate ivory panel painted in soft shades of green and blue with
a scene of a tall rigged ship sailing upriver into a harbour guarded
by a fortified outpost flying a green banner, the river bordered by the
high peaked limestone mountains of southern China, wood frame.
