                                                             FIVE ARCHAISTIC JADE ANIMAL CARVINGS
                                                             Late Qing Dynasty
                                                             The plump, recumbent mythical beast turning its head back facing the
                                                             curled tail, a horn between the ears, the celadon stone stained black
                                                             in areas; the bulldog with square snout looking up from a recumbent
                                                             pose, the celadon stone stained russet and black in areas; the hound
                                                             with a forked tail with its head turning back, drilled under the chin
                                                             for stringing, the gray stone mottled with inclusions; the dog carved
                                                             in slender form resting on four feet, drilled between the paws, the
                                                             celadon stone mottled and lightly polished; the small kitten resting on
                                                             the back of the mother cat, the translucent celadon stone with deep
                                                             russet and green inclusions. (5)
                                                             Mythical beast: 1 5/8in (4.2cm) long;
                                                             Bulldog: 1 3/4in (4.5cm) long;
                                                             Hound: 2 3/8in (6.1cm) long;
                                                             Dog: 2 5/16in (5.9cm) long;

                                                             THREE CARVED HARDSTONE BANGLES
                                                             Late Qing Dynasty
                                                             Of flattened toroid form, carved with scrolls and stylized serpents
                                                             in relief, the pores stone softly polished; of squared toroid form,
                                                             decorated with a band of keyfret patterns, the stone mottle green and
                                                             russet and black; of toroid form and convex on the exterior, the surface
                                                             undecorated and softly polished, the grayish stone mottled brown. (3)
                                                             3 1/8in to 3 1/2in (8cm to 8.9cm) diam
