                                                             FIVE ARCHAISTIC JADE BEADS
                                                             Late Qing Dynasty
                                                             The Wengzhong figure carved with simple strokes to depict a standing
                                                             official wearing a long robe, his hands held in front and concealed
                                                             under the long sleeves, the long beard finely detailed with incised
                                                             lines, perforated from top of the head to both sleeve ends, the brown
                                                             stone with dark patination; the cong-shaped bead of slender form with
                                                             circular mouth on each end, the stone stained in brown in areas; the
                                                             other cong-shaped bead decorated with four rows of stripped panels
                                                             and a chi dragon design, the opaque white stone stained black in
                                                             areas; the elongated rectangular bead decorated with chi dragons in
                                                             relief, the mottled stone stained brown and black in areas; the short
                                                             cylindrical bead decorated with a chi dragon over reduced ground, the
                                                             green stone stained brown at both ends. (5)
                                                             Wengzhong: 3in (7.6cm) high;
                                                             beads: 13/16in to 2 9/16in (2.1cm to 6.5cm) long

                                                             The small jade cong with chi dragon on the side in the present lot
                                                             compares closely to the jade cong in the collection of the Palace
                                                             Museum, Taipei, illustrated on the museum’s website as 故玉004607N,
                                                             attributed to Qing Dynasty.

                                                             THREE ARCHAISTIC JADE HUANG PENDANTS
                                                             Late Qing Dynasty
                                                             Comprising one perforated at one end for stringing, decorated with a
                                                             chi dragon in low relief within line borders, the reverse carved a single
                                                             huang character over reduced ground, the celadon stone stained black
                                                             and brown; one arched pendant with a dragon head on either end,
                                                             the mane and scaled body finely detailed, perforated on both ends for
                                                             stringing, the stone stained reddish-brown in areas; the small pendant
                                                             carved with a pair of chi dragon in high relief, the reverse with ‘C’-scrolls
                                                             in shallow relief, perforated on one side, the stone stained black. (3)
                                                             Huang: 3 5/8in (8.3cm) wide;
                                                             Dragon-head huang: 3 13/16in (9.7cm) wide;
                                                             Small huang: 2in (5cm) wide
