A CELADON JADE ‘TWIN DEER’ CARVING
18TH-19TH CENTURY
清十八/十九世紀 青玉雙鹿啣靈芝擺件
The stone is carved and pierced as two recumbent deer side
by side, one with its head facing forwards, the other turned
sharply backwards, each with a lingzhi branch in its mouth.
The jade ranges in tone from a brownish slightly mottled
colour to pale celadon.

A MOTTLED GREY JADE BOULDER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
清十八/十九世紀 灰玉亭臺樓閣山子
The boulder is carved to one side with a scene of pavilions below pine trees in a mountainous landscape.
The reverse is carved with further rocky areas and trees. The stone is of an attractive pale grey tone with
brownish-black mottled inclusions.
