A LARGE GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE CENSER
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The heavily-cast censer is of compressed globular form with a fared rim, and is applied on the
sides with two stylized fsh-form handles, the surface adorned with gilt splashes. The base is
cast with an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark.
