A GILT-BRONZE TABLE-TOP DISPLAY CASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The hinged, rectangular vitrine opens to reveal a fnely-incised panel decorated with lotus
blossoms borne on leafy vines. The frame is intricately decorated with stylized foral meander.
The whole is supported on a waisted stand of conforming shape raised on short legs which
terminate in scroll-form feet joined by shaped aprons, and decorated with shaped panels
enclosing lotus blossoms below a lappet border.
