A QINGBAI CARVED CONICAL BOWL
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The bowl has widely fared sides and is
well carved on the interior with lotus
scroll bearing four blossoms, two shown
full, and two shown in profle, the fowers
interspersed with water weeds, all under a
glaze of aquamarine color that pools to a
deep tone in the carving and in the bottom
of the interior.

TWO QINGBAI VESSELS
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
One is an octagonal bottle with tapering
ovoid body and upright neck, the facets of
the body bordered by raised ribs, and the
shoulder applied with four small loops, all
under a glaze of aqua tone. The other is a
shallow dish with fared sides, carved in the
center with a foliate spray, and covered with
a glaze of aqua tone that ends below the
unglazed rim and covers the slightly concave
base.
