               Painted   in  black  upon  a page    of an   oribon.   Tsune-
           NOBU   HiTSUsu.    Painted  by  Tsunenobu.   This   artist,  a  dis-
          tinguished member of the Tsukiji branch of the Kano family,
           died in the third year of the period of Shotoku, 1712 a.d.

                Painted  in black upon a page of an oribon.       Mine-nobu
           HITSUSU.    Painted  by  Minenobu,   a member     of  the  Tsukiji
           branch  of  the  Kano   family,  who   lived  during   the  period
           of Shotoku, 1711    to  1716  A.D.

               Painted in black upon a page of an oribon.        Chika-nobu
           HITSUSU.   Painted  by  Chikanobit.  It  is not clear whether this
           artist was one of the Kano family, but he was a well-known
           disciple of that school  he lived during the period of Shotoku.
