Copied from an oribon containing six paintings upon silk,
illustrating the seasons or festivals of Japan, of which an
account is given in Keramic Art of Japmi.
No. 564 is the title of the book ; it is painted in black
upon a paper label, clouded with gold, which appears upon
the outside of the oribon: Shin Rok-ka-sen. Shin Rokkasen.
New six seasons.
No. 565 appears upon one of the paintings. Gioku-do
Gen-boku yegaku. Painted by Genboku Giokudo^ an artist of
the Kano school. The seal is the mark of Giokudo.
