A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF SHAKYAMUNI
TIBET, 17TH CENTURY
Buddha Shakyamuni is shown seated in vajrasana on a lotus base
with his right hand in bhumisparshamudra while the left rests
on his lap supporting the alms bowl. He has a serene expression
with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows and the urna on his
forehead. His curled hair and ushnisha are topped with a lotus-bud.

A PARCEL-GILT SILVER OFFERING VASE, TSEBUM
LATE 19TH CENTURY
The bulbous-shaped vase is decorated with four vertical bands
set with semi-precious stones below a leaf-shaped ornament
embellished with a diminutive fgure of Amitayus.
