17TH CENTURY
The fgure is shown seated with crossed legs and his right foot
is exposed beneath voluminous robes. His right hand is raised in
vitarkamudra, while his left is at his lap holding an attribute. His face
has a benign expression and his head is adorned with a headdress.

A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF ELEVEN-HEADED
AVALOKITESHVARA
18TH CENTURY
The eight-armed deity is depicted standing with her primary hands held in
namaskaramudra and the remaining arms outstretched in various mudras,
some holding attributes. She is dressed in loose robes, adorned with jewels
and a celestial scarf draped over her shoulders. Her eleven heads all bear a
serene expression with downcast eyes.
