A THANGKA DEPICTING SARVABUDDHADAKINI
TIBET, 18TH CENTURY
The female deity is shown trampling in alidhasana on two fgures
reclining on a lotus base, holding vajra and blood-flled kapala while
the khatvanga rests against her shoulder. She is adorned with a skull
garland and jewellery and her face has a ferce expression. A faming
halo is behind her and she is fanked by lamas, another dakini and
further deities, in a garden landscape.
