A GILT-BRONZE AND CLOISONNÉ-ENAMELLED FIGURE OF
BUDDHA AMITAYUS
18TH CENTURY
Amitayus is shown seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base with his hands
folded in dhyanamudra. He wears a long robe with scarves around his arms,
while a fve-lobed crown adorns his head. The fgure is decorated in coloured
enamels and his robes are further embellished with lotus-scroll and fowers.
The base is sealed.

18TH-19TH CENTURY
The group comprises: a fgure of Guandi; a fgure of Manjusri holding a sword
over his head; a fgure of Buddha Amitayus; a model of Vaishravana holding a
mongoose in his left hand; a model of Buddha seated on a double-lotus throne;
and a model of Tsongkhapa.
