A RARE GILT AND INSCRIBED WHITE JADE
ARCHER’S RING BOX AND CELADON JADE
COVER
QIANLONG INCISED AND GILT FOUR-CHARACTER CLERICAL MARK
AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The columnar white jade box is incised and gilt on the flat
top with concentric bands of petals forming a chrysanthemum
blossom, on the curved side with a landscape depicting
chrysanthemum branches emerging from rocks, followed by a
four-line Imperial poem. The flat circular celadon jade cover is
incised and gilt with a four-character reign mark in clerical script.
