20th century
Each decorated with large panels of exotic birds amongst flowering
peony, magnolia and blossoming prunus, within pink bat-form
borders, on pale blue grounds reserved with floral vignettes,
scattered fruit and flower sprays, with bands of lappets to the rim
and twin chilong at the foot.

Chenghua six-character mark, Kangxi
Decorated to the centre with a large forward-facing dragon amongst
cloud scrolls, the cavetto and exterior each similarly decorated with
four sinuous dragons amongst clouds in pursuit of the flaming pearl.
