The inkstone of rectangular form, the border incised with angular Of canted rectangular form, the sides with a raised band around the
archaistic stylised dragon scrolls, a steep well at the head of the flattened rim, carved with three small apertures in the centre, the stone
inkstone, the stone of greyish-green tone with frost-white speckles, the of pale green tone with russet inclusions. 23.5cm (9 1/4in) long.
huanghuali box and cover of finely-grained wood, 11cm (4 2/3in) long;
together with a heavy duan inkstone in hongmu stand and cover, Qing £300 - 500
dynasty, carved in low relief on the surface with an elephant-head- CNY2,700 - 4,500
handled vase with archaistic band on the shoulders, the well imitating
