AN INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
Yan Yutian, 1895
Of flattened rectangular form, with faceted short sides, surmounted by a
gently flaring neck with flat lip, supported on a low rectangular foot ring
surrounding a faceted convex foot, one side of the interior painted with a
bird perched on a rock beside a prunus spray, the other side painted with
a chrysanthemum and rockwork in a pot with crabs and fruit around its
base, dated yiwei (1895) and signed Yan Yutian with one painted seal.

AN INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
Le Shi, 1966
Of bulging cube form with notched edges, surmounted by a waisted
neck, supported on four tab feet, two opposing sides painted with
archaic bronze vessels with their inscriptions above, one side painted
with a seated luohan and the remaining side inscribed with a copy of the
inscription from a Western Zhou yuding, dated bingwu (1966) and signed
Le Shi.
