Words used to reassure a patient are strongly stressed.
And, ho´nestly, it’s routine.
1. Listen to the tape and mark the stressed syllable in the words of
reassurance.
a. It’s really nothing to worry about.
b. That’s perfectly normal.
c. There’s absolutely nothing to worry about.
2. Repeat the sentences, paying particular attention to the stressed
words of reassurance.
