P. 3

So many preachers, pastors and ministers preach what I call a . . .
                                            1 + 1 = 2 man-made theology.

This means the New Testament, plus the Old Testament, is what we should
live by: (1) the gospel of the New and (2) the law of the Old. This says we are
saved by the gospel, but we then live by the law. Studies show at least 90% of
all churches preach this. Paul says there are‘10,000 Instructors’ such as I just
mentioned, compared to very, very few ‘fathers of the gospel’ (I Cor 4:15).

                                             1 + 1 = 2 may be great math,
but it is terrible according to Bible truth.

You will clearly see in this message: the New Testament claims we are to

only live by the gospel. It is the power and presence of God in us. Jesus says to
repent of everything else we believe, and only believe his gospel. “It must be
preached in all the world before the end times will come.” Paul says in order
to live the gospel and minister unto God, we must be ‘dead to the law.’

Paul was trained alone in the wilderness by Jesus for 3 years, and he says he
was also given a special conference with God in ’the third heaven’ about it.
Here he was told wonderful things he was not even permitted to repeat them
all to us (II Cor 12:1-4).

He spent 14 more years in what I call ‘on the job training’ before he went up
to Jerusalem to share his gospel revelation with the other Apostles (Gal 2:1).

Then he wrote over half the New Testament explaining the gospel to us! We
must be certain that we understand the gospel and grasp his gospel message.
