Most Christians Still Live by the Law
It is true that most Gentile Christians still live by the law.,
even though they should not be doing so. There are reasons for
this.
++ In the modern, western world we are legal-minded by
rote. I’m a lawyer, and I know we have more lawyers per capita in
the United States than anywhere else in the world. It is our nature
to think legally. A U.S.
Supreme Court Justice has said we now have 10,000,000 laws on
the books to enforce the 10 commandments. Everywhere we turn,
we are faced with another law controlling us. It’s just our culture
and society.
++ Most churches, pastors and preachers focus on the law in
their services and sermons. This is declared in more than one
