When the New Covenant gospel IS preached, it is often so

mixed and married with the Old Covenant law it’s impossible to

                tell them apart.

This is like mixing the blood of animals

                                              with the blood of Jesus,

which is not a smart thing to do.

The Apostle Paul was a strong defender of the gospel. In

Philippians 1:17 he says he was appointed for “the defense of the

gospel,” and the Amplified version says he was “put here” on earth

for this purpose. In Acts 20:24, he says that his entire ministry was
to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Paul was very focused.

He even says he was ‘separated to the gospel’ (Rom 1:1), which

means he didn’t allow anything else to influence him.

This is what Jesus says in Mark 1, when we are told that Jesus

came preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God — “Saying the

time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent and
                believe my gospel.”

What Jesus is saying is to forsake

                                            everything else we believe,

and to only believe and live

his gospel truth and reality he brought from God.

Sometimes we fail to see the profound importance of what
