valuable self- esteem and the practice they need to become
effective judges of healthy group functioning in school, on the
job, and at home.
The students having high self-esteem level will volunteer in
this type of technique because they feel responsible to themselves
or to others especially in helping their group member in
facing the subject which is given through the cooperative
learning class by communicating each others opinion rather
than judging other mistakes or even felling better than them
in any aspects of learning. By doing so, in the end they can
solve it together as a team and enjoy the same victory as a group
rather than individual. It can be assumed that the coopertive
learning model is appropriate for those having high self-esteem.
On the other hand, since the audio-lingual method follows
the natural order of language learning, the use of repetitive
drills is aimed in shaping a new habit for learning the second
language. Stimuli-responses are expected and correct ones are
immediately reinforced as conditioning. The native language
