2. The Difference in Speaking Achievement Between the
Students Having High Self-Esteem and With Those Having
Low Self-Esteem
The relationships between self-esteem and academic
achievement have received much attention. As a result, the
students with high self-esteem will facilitate their academic
achievement. The term speaking is a skill where the students have
to use their oral reproduction to utter the language, whether
they are making a mistake or not is a different thing; at the end at
least they’ve tried.
Meanwhile, the term self-esteem is not a skill, but it is a
feeling deep down the students’ soul. It can only be
measured by observing the way in which a person acts, deals
or behaves.
Students with high self-esteem tend to become talkative
and they will be able to influence other’s way of thinking and
attitude in a proper way, it will allow them to be free in delivering
their thoughts in any conditions, make them grow in a mature
way in any aspect of life, they tend to respect others as if they
respect themselves, it will help them in accepting
