Change in Classification From Outside the Clinical Ladder

All clinical ladder positions are competitive positions, therefore follow the Application and Promotion Process for
Internal Candidates for all CN III and CN IV applications regardless of the position previously held by the candidate
outside of the clinical ladder. For example,

• A House Supervisor applying for a CN III position must complete a portfolio and application that reflects
the Standards and Behaviors of a CN III.
• A PSM III applying for a position as CN IV must complete a portfolio and application that reflects the
Standards and Behaviors of a CN IV.
