YMCA sponsored Little League Baseball 1960.
The Kernersville Family YMCA came into being
twelve years ago. From its small one room office, lo-
cated in the basement of the Main Street Baptist Church,
emerged the development of an organization to serve
the families of East Forsyth County. When the YMCA
had completed its first year, there was a membership of
375. The membership now stands at 1400. In 1959, the

This agency was established in the early 1900's. In 1946 it was pur-
chased by local business men and the name changed to Kernersville Realty
& Insurance Company, Inc. In 1951 Tam Church purchased the business
and in 1955 Wayne and Pearl McGee purchased the business and are the
