Jim Danderfer retires after 41 years of service

Jim Danderfer retired from Viterra at the end of April after 41
years with Viterra.
Jim started his career in Macklin, SK for the Saskatchewan
Wheat Pool in 1981. He then moved to Biggar with United Grain
Growers (UGG) in 1983 and continued to work with UGG in
Dinsmore, Seamans, Viking, Bruderheim and Camrose. In 2004
he moved to the Peace Country, and managed the Grande
Prairie facility until the new Sexsmith facility was built in 2008.
At that time Jim became the Regional Account Manager for the
Peace Country. In this role he sourced grain into all four Peace
facilities: Grimshaw, Falher, Sexsmith and Fort St. John.
During his career Jim spent a lot of time mentoring new CARs
who joined Viterra and helped them enhance their careers with
his knowledge of the industry.
